Primary and Secondary Scholarship Fund: Keeping Children in Schools
Education in Haiti is mostly private and expensive, poor parents struggle to keep their children in school because of high and rising expenses.
90% of primary schools are non-public managed by communities, religious organizations or NGOs. The enrollment rate for primary school is 88% and only 20% for secondary schools.
Lack of money is a key barrier to education.
Partial scholarships help keep children and youth in school. By becoming a sponsor you will help parents with tuition and school material for an entire year. Children are our future and education is their future.
With partial assistance students are able to continue their education and graduate. They will gain skills and knowledge to better their lives and build a more prosperous future for themselves, their families, their communities and their country. They will also be off the streets, far from gangs and other destructive activities.
Donate or become a fundraiser to Kids@School Fund today.Together, we can keep Haitian students in schools and improve their educational achievement.
This program is generously co-sponsored and administered by FOKAL Foundation in Haiti.
Thank you for your generous support.
